Bingin Bali Surf Travel Guide

Bingin Bali

Bingin, IndonesiaBingin is a short mechanical wave on Bali's Phuket peninsula. It works best around 3-5ft and the take off spot is very narrow. Bingin gets very very crowded through the peak season. Because of the popularity of this spot, its proximity to Kuta and the copious amounts of dirt cheap accommodation you'll have lots of Aussies and Brazilians to fight with for the waves.

We recommend you hire a motorbike or a bemo to give you access to nearby spots like Padang Padang, Uluwatu, Impossibles, Dreamland and Balangan. Surf is best on the west side of the Bukit in the dry season from May to September. Through the rest of the year you can surf all those right handers on the east side of the Bukit. Staying in Bali can be as cheap as only $2 a night but a dream surf Uluwatu villa will cost you loads more.
