Gold Coast Weather

The climate in the Gold Coast is sub-tropical and the 'Goldie' basks in 300 days per year of glorious Queensland sunshine. Average air temperatures in the summer range between 66-83°F (19-29°C), and the winter fares nicely at 48-69°F (9-21°C). The average ocean temperatures range between from 65°F (18°C) in winter to a balmy 80°F (27°C) in the peak of summer.

Almost everyone who comes to Australia does so by plane and travellers coming direct to the Gold Coast from overseas will enter by flight to Brisbane. Brisbane Airport (BNE) is the closest international airport to the Gold Coast as Brisbane city is adjacent to the Gold Coast.
