Avalon Beach Sydney Australia Surf Travel Guide

Avalon Beach Sydney Australia

Locals divide up Avalon into 3 spots, North Avalon, South Avalon and Little Avalon, although its one large beach break and a headland at each end. Avalon beach offers up good shaped rights and lefts along the beach. It works on almost any tide and any tide and on its day it can hold up to massive 16ft waves.

Little Avalon is a difference affair altogether. Little Av is hollow, heavy slabby right. Only surf it if you are used to surifng this sort of wave. If its not, be content surfing the very consistent waves on the beach.
